Hi, I'm Apurba Kumar Saha - a PhD student in Department of Systems and Industrial Engineering at the university of Arizona. Concurrently, I am pursuing a MS degree in Statistics and Data Science.My passion for Data Science is rooted in my love for Statistics and Operations research. The way the world of optimization and statistics merge together to discover meaningful insights from incomplete information really intrigues me.

The goal of this portfolio is to provide educational materials for those people who want to learn data science. Moreover, this portfolio helps me showcase the independent data science related projects that I have completed over last two years. Most articles in this blog comes with in-depth discussion about each technique used, its pros & cons, when to use, and when not to use. Most visualizations & techniques introduced in each article comes with reproducible code snippets. All Code snippets are written in Python.
